Olvera Street

Olvera Street Señorita Galliher's Spanish 1 class took a field trip to Olvera Street on April 10th! Olvera Street is a marketplace that is located in the birthplace of Los Angeles and is rich with Mexican culture. During their trip, the Spanish 1 students conducted themselves completely in Spanish. As a way to relate the textbook's chapter about restaurants to real life, the students filmed themselves interacting in Spanish with waiters while ordering lunch. The students did a great job using Spanish in a real situation and had a blast doing it!
Congratulations to ECR Cheer

Congratulations to ECR Cheer The ECR Cheer Team competed at USA Nationals in March. We placed 10th in the nation and rocked our performance in the Varsity Show Cheer division. We are so proud of our girls and the way they represented our school at the national level for the first time in nearly a decade. ECR Cheer cannot wait to return to the competition next year.
